School Immersion – Batari School and Orchird Park Secondary School
Batari School and Orchid Park Secondary School jointly organised the 'School Immersion – Medan & Singapore' program. As part of this initiative, students visited Socfindo Conservation to explore the use of medicinal plants and participate in a hands-on training session focused on the preparation of healthy herbal drinks (jamu).

VISIT
Field Practicum of Biology Students at the University of Sumatera Utara (USU) on the Diversity of Medicinal Plants
Students and faculty from the Biology Department at the University of Sumatera Utara (USU) visited Socfindo Conservation to conduct a field practicum aimed at studying the diversity of medicinal plants. During this opportunity, they observed various plant species present in the area firsthand. They delved into the importance of genetic diversity, species, and ecosystems, as well as their roles in maintaining the balance of nature. With the guidance of their professors, the students are expected to apply the theories they have learned in class to real-world practices and gain new insights that can enrich their research and studies.

A Visit from Students of the Faculty of Agriculture at USU
Students from the Faculty of Agriculture at USU visited Socfindo Conservation to study the benefits of medicinal plants and to expand their knowledge about new plants they had never encountered before as references for their academic research. They were very enthusiastic about learning the various plant collections at Socfindo Conservation.
