Representatives of Sawit Kinabalu Malaysia visited Socfindo Conservation
Representatives from Sawit Kinabalu Malaysia visited Socfindo Conservation. They had the opportunity to taste a variety of herbal teas made from fresh ingredients harvested directly from the Socfindo Conservation garden. They were very enthusiastic and inspired by this experience, gaining new insights into how natural resources can be processed into products that are not only delicious but also healthy.

Workshop on Making Moringa Ice Cream for Students of Universitas Medan (UNIMED)
Lecturers and students from Universitas Medan (UNIMED) visited Socfindo Conservation to explore our diverse plant collections. During their visit, they not only learned about the various plant species in the conservation area but also actively participated in making ice cream from Moringa leaf powder. This hands-on activity aims to enhance students' understanding of the importance of utilizing local plants and natural resources in a sustainable manner.

Training on Making Kombucha and Moringa Ice Cream for the Al Fitiyah School in Binjai
Teachers and students from Al Fitiyah School in Binjai visited Socfindo Conservation to participate in a workshop on making kombucha and ice cream using fresh Moringa leaf powder. They were enthusiastic about the opportunity to learn about the benefits of medicinal plants and how these can be transformed into healthy food products.

Training on Making Jamu Sinom and Eco-Enzyme for Budisatrya Private High School Medan
Approximately 100 teachers and students from Budisatrya Private High School Medan visited Socfindo Conservation. During this visit, they participated in a training session on making Jamu Sinom and Eco-Enzyme, using fresh ingredients sourced from the Socfindo Conservation garden. They were delighted to have the opportunity to learn about the health benefits of these plants.

VISIT
National Geographic Indonesia visits Socfindo Conservation
The National Geographic Indonesia team visited Socfindo Conservation to explore the origins of the palm oil industry in Indonesia at PT Socfindo and its sustainability programs. They had the opportunity to see a collection of herbal plants, observe the process of producing liquid smoke, and enjoy meals while tasting various tea products made from fresh ingredients sourced from the Socfindo Conservation garden. They were impressed by PT Socfindo's commitment to sustainability and environmental conservation.
