Alumni from SMAN 2 Siantar, class of 1985, visited Socfindo Conservation. They came to learn about medicinal plants and had the opportunity to enjoy dishes made from fresh ingredients from Socfindo Conservation's organic garden.

Visit from Asset Management Company (PT PPA- Perusahaan Pengelola Aset)
Representatives from PT PPA (Asset Management Company) visited Socfindo Conservation to observe our activities, and they were interested in the medicinal plants collected by the Socfindo Conservation team. They had the opportunity to taste various tea products made from fresh ingredients from the Socfindo Conservation garden. They were happy to have the chance to understand the health benefits of these plants.

The visit from the Singapore Consul, Ms. Yap Wee Ping, along with students from Temasek Polytechnic Singapore.
The Singapore Consul, Ms. Yap Wee Ping, along with students from Temasek Polytechnic Singapore, visited Socfindo Conservation as part of a comparative study for a cultural exchange program between Indonesia and Singapore. They had the opportunity to enjoy meals and taste various tea products made from fresh ingredients from the Socfindo Conservation garden. They were pleased to have the chance to understand the health benefits of these plants.

Training on the use of Medicinal Plants (TOGA) for Bima Insan Mandiri High School
A total of 111 teachers and students from Bima Insan Mandiri High School visited Socfindo Conservation. On this occasion, they participated in training sessions on making ice cream, eco-enzyme, and traditional herbal drink (jamu sinom), all made from fresh ingredients from the Socfindo Conservation garden. They were pleased to have the opportunity to understand the health benefits of these plants.

A visit form PT. ASD–Bakrie Oil Palm Seed Indonesia
Dr. Kenneth Gales and his team from PT. ASD–Bakrie Oil Palm Seed Indonesia (OPSI) visited Socfindo Conservation. During this visit, they toured the mushroom house and enjoyed a selection of dishes and various teas made from fresh ingredients sourced from the Socfindo Conservation garden. They are amazed because all the tea products come from herbal plants at Socfindo Conservation and are blended by the women of KISS

WORKSHOP
Training on the Use of Medical Plants by Socfindo Conservation in South Tapanuli.
The Socfindo Conservation Team served as a speaker in a training on the Use of Medicinal Plants for women from the Family Welfare Empowerment program (PKK) in Sipirok, South Tapanuli. This event was attended by 40 PKK women representatives from 12 villages in the Sipirok Subdistrict, South Tapanuli Regency. The event was also attended by the Head of the Village Community Empowerment Office and village officials. The training aimed to improve community welfare. The practical sessions included making remedies for fever and phlegmy coughs in children, as well as preparing Sinom herbal drinks, kombucha, and moringa ginger tea.
