Training on the Use of Medical Plants by Socfindo Conservation in South Tapanuli.
The Socfindo Conservation Team served as a speaker in a training on the Use of Medicinal Plants for women from the Family Welfare Empowerment program (PKK) in Sipirok, South Tapanuli. This event was attended by 40 PKK women representatives from 12 villages in the Sipirok Subdistrict, South Tapanuli Regency. The event was also attended by the Head of the Village Community Empowerment Office and village officials. The training aimed to improve community welfare. The practical sessions included making remedies for fever and phlegmy coughs in children, as well as preparing Sinom herbal drinks, kombucha, and moringa ginger tea.

Bina Keterampilan Pedesaan Indonesia (BITRA Indonesia) provided training to its Fostered Group on Herbal Plant Cultivation and Jamu Making at Socfindo Conservation.

Pharmacy Students Summer Course Program at Socfindo Conservation
Pharmacy students, along with the Summer Course Program supervisors, visited Socfindo Conservation. They came to learn about medicinal plants and had the opportunity to enjoy dishes made from fresh ingredients from Socfindo Conservation's organic garden.

Traditional Herbal Medicine Making Workshop in Tanjung Maria Village
As part of Socfindo Conservation's commitment to community development, Socfindo Conservation participated as a speaker in the Traditional Herbal Medicine Making session at the PKK (Family Welfare Program) event held by the women of Tanjung Maria village. This workshop was conducted as a means of empowering the local community.

A visit from the North Sumatra Regional Committee of the Indonesia Plant Breeding Science Society (PERIPI)
The North Sumatra Regional Committee of the Indonesia Plant Breeding Science Society (PERIPI) visited Socfindo Conservation. They were very interested in the various collections of medicinal plants in the Socfindo Conservation garden.

The Socfindo Conservation Team provided 99 types of medicinal plants to the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of North Sumatra and planting trees around the campus area of the University of North Sumatra.
