The Association of Indonesian Traditional Herbalists visit to Socfindo Conservation
The Association of Indonesian Traditional Herbalists (ASPETRI), a non-profit organization that brings together traditional herbalists, medicinal plant farmers and medicinal plant processors, came to visit Socfindo Conservation. Their visit to Socfindo Conservation proved to be a valuable opportunity, as they gained insight into several new types of medicinal plants.

Socfindo Conservation holds the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Tea House
Socfindo Conservation holds the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Tea House attended by Mrs. Fitrianti SE, the District Head of Dolok Masihul, Police Chief of Dolok Masihul AKP Zulham, Military Commander of Dolok Masihul Captain Saidun Gultom, along with orphaned children from the surrounding plantations. The event proceeded smoothly and well. We are looking forward seeing this project grow and be beneficial to Socfindo and its surrounding communities.

Students and teachers of “SD Sultan Agung Siantar” Secondary School visited Socfindo Conservation. They came to learn about medicinal plants and its health benefits. At this occasion they also practiced their medicinal plants planting skills assisted by our Socfindo Conservation team.

A visit from “SMAN 1 Dolok Masihul” High School
Students from Dolok Masihul Secondary School “SMAN 1 Dolok Masihul” visit Socfindo Conservation to learn about plants in general. They were excited to learn about the plants and hear about the many projects hosted at Socfindo Conservation, many of which are situated in their own village Dolok Masihul.
