Workshop on Butterfly Pea in Aceh Tamiang
Another workshop of “butterfly pea” held by the Socfindo Ladies Association (KISS) for the wives association of the army - Kartika Chandra Kirana Aceh Tamiang. Socfindo Conservation trained them about the uses of the “Butterfly Pea” flower, how to propagate the plants and process the flower into various foods and drinks.

SD IT Permata Firdaus Sei Bamban Primary School visits Socfindo Conservation
Students from SD IT Pertama Firdaus Serdang Bedagai Primary School visited Socfindo Conservation. Not only have they come to learn about our plants collection but they also took part in a Jamu (Indonesian traditional herbal medicine) workshop.

A visit from the Regent of Asahan district
The Regent of Asahan district, Mr. H. Surya and his team visited Socfindo Conservation. They came to see the collection of plants and had the opportunity to enjoy dishes made from fresh ingredients from Socfindo Conservation's organic gardens.

Socfindo Conservation attends to the Bukit Barisan army fair promoting Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises
The wives association of Bukit Barisan Army organized a fair for Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises. Socfindo Conservation’s team participated in this event and had the opportunity to present various products such as jamu scientific, butterfly pea products and traditional snacks.

Workshop on Butterfly Pea in Padang Pulau Village
The Socfindo Ladies Association (KISS) held a workshop on the many uses of the “Butterfly Pea” flower (Telang) together with the Women Group of Padang Pulau Village. Socfindo Conservation also gave seedlings and equipment to the village so they can produce their own product. Through propagation and processing into various foods and drinks, these can become potential source of revenues for local communities.
