Workshop on Butterfly Pea in Adiantorop and Ujung Padang Village
The Socfindo Ladies Association (KISS) held a workshop on the many uses of the “Butterfly Pea” flower (Telang) together with the Women Group of in Adiantorop and Ujung Padang Village. Socfindo Conservation also gave seedlings and equipment to the village so they can produce their own product. Through propagation and processing into various foods and drinks, these can become potential source of revenues for local communities.

Students and teachers of Ignatius Kindergarten School Medan visited Socfindo Conservation. They came to learn about medicinal plants and its health benefits. At this occasion they also practiced their medicinal plants planting skills assisted by our Socfindo Conservation team.

The Socfindo Ladies Association (KISS) held a workshop on the many uses of the “Butterfly Pea” flower (Telang) together with the Women Group of Negeri lama Seberang and Perkebunan Negeri Lama Village. The activity also aired on iNews TV media. Socfindo Conservation also gave seedlings and equipment to the village so they could produce their own product.

A visit from the representatives of oil palm seeds association, tax officer and BBPPTP (Center for Seeds and Plantation Plant Protection)
The representatives of oil palm seeds association, tax officer and BBPPTP (Center for Seeds and Plantation Plant Protection) visited Socfindo Conservation. They came to see mushroom collection, orchids, vegetables and other medicinal plants and had learnt about their benefits for health. In addition, they bought some our products such as honey, dried butterfly pea flower and jamu.

Socfindo Ladies Association (KISS) visits “Desa Binaan”- one of the partner village of Socfindo Conservation
Socfindo Conservation assisted Aras Panjang Village called “Desa Binaan” to establish the butterfly pea garden in each yard of household. The program was aimed to increase the economy of local communities.
