A visit from the representatives of oil palm seeds association, tax officer and BBPPTP (Center for Seeds and Plantation Plant Protection)
The representatives of oil palm seeds association, tax officer and BBPPTP (Center for Seeds and Plantation Plant Protection) visited Socfindo Conservation. They came to see mushroom collection, orchids, vegetables and other medicinal plants and had learnt about their benefits for health. In addition, they bought some our products such as honey, dried butterfly pea flower and jamu.

Socfindo Ladies Association (KISS) visits “Desa Binaan”- one of the partner village of Socfindo Conservation
Socfindo Conservation assisted Aras Panjang Village called “Desa Binaan” to establish the butterfly pea garden in each yard of household. The program was aimed to increase the economy of local communities.

WORKSHOP
Workshop on Butterfly Pea in Bukit Cermin Village
Another workshop of “butterfly pea” held in Bukit Cermin Village by the Socfindo Ladies Association (KISS) for the women group. Many uses of the “Butterfly Pea” flower (Telang) were presented to participants. Socfindo Conservation trained them how to propagate the plants and process the flower into various foods and drinks, which potentially could increase the economy of local communities. The activity also aired on iNews TV media.

Staff of PT Tolan Tiga Indonesia – a member of SIPEF Group, visited Socfindo Conservation. They came with their family to see the collection of medicinal plants and had the opportunity to enjoy dishes made from fresh ingredients from Socfindo Conservation's organic gardens.

35 representatives of The Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture's Central Quarantine Center visited Socfindo Conservation. On this occasion, they were introduced to the collection of medicinal plants and their benefits.
