Workshop on Butterfly Pea in Bukit Cermin Village
Another workshop of “butterfly pea” held in Bukit Cermin Village by the Socfindo Ladies Association (KISS) for the women group. Many uses of the “Butterfly Pea” flower (Telang) were presented to participants. Socfindo Conservation trained them how to propagate the plants and process the flower into various foods and drinks, which potentially could increase the economy of local communities. The activity also aired on iNews TV media.

A visit from staff of PT Tolan Tiga Indonesia
Staff of PT Tolan Tiga Indonesia – a member of SIPEF Group, visited Socfindo Conservation. They came with their family to see the collection of medicinal plants and had the opportunity to enjoy dishes made from fresh ingredients from Socfindo Conservation's organic gardens.

The Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture's Central Quarantine Center visits Socfindo Conservation
35 representatives of The Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture's Central Quarantine Center visited Socfindo Conservation. On this occasion, they were introduced to the collection of medicinal plants and their benefits.

Workshop on Butterfly Pea in Kuta Pinang and Paya Pinang Villages
The Socfindo Ladies Association (KISS) held a workshop on the many uses of the "Butterfly Pea” flower (Telang) together with the Women Group of Kuta Pinang and Paya Pinang Villages. Socfindo Conservation also gave seedlings and equipment to the village so they could produce their own product.
