Commissioner of Socfin Group, together with principals, visit Socfindo Conservation
We were honoured to receive the visit of Mr. Philippe Fabri, commissioner of Socfin Group and his team of principals from Socfin group. They were accompanied by the Principal Director of Socfindo, Mr. Harold Williams and the Estate Advisor, Mr. Cedric Enthoven, together with the local management. At this occasion, the ladies, led by Mrs Williams, guided the delegation through the plant collection and sustainability projects. An assortment of local dishes were enjoyed and prepared with fresh ingredients from Socfindo’s organic garden.

Dato' Carl Bek-Nielsen, United Plantations Chief Executive Director visits Socfindo Conservation
It was an honor to receive a visit from Dato’ Carl Bek-Nielsen, the Chief Executive Director of United Plantations and his team. They were accompanied by Socfindo’s Principal Director, Mr. Harold Williams. The Socfindo Conservation team, led by Mrs. Luluk Williams, introduced our garden and its associated projects. Our plant collections, together with the recent Socfindo Conservation sustainability initiatives brought a lot of interest and were very well received.

The representative of Martabe Senior High School from Sipirok visit Socfindo Conservation to learn about plants in general. They were excited to take a stroll around the garden and enjoyed the view.

Siti Hajar Primary School grade six, visited Socfindo Conservation
120 students and teachers of Siti Hajar School visited Socfindo Conservation. They came to learn about medicinal plants and its health benefits. At this occasion they also practiced planting medicinal plants assisted by our Socfindo Conservation team.

Yayasan BITRA Indonesia visited Socfindo Conservation
A total of 14 representatives from the Yayasan BITRA Indonesia visited Socfindo Conservation, not only to see the collection of mushrooms, orchids, vegetables and other medicinal plants, but also to learn about their health benefits. Yayasan BITRA (Rural Skills Development) Indonesia is a non-profit organisation that facilitates and directs implementation in the context of empowering marginalised communities, especially in rural areas.

Alumni of the Plant Protection (Plant Pests and Diseases) class 1984 from the IPB University visited Socfindo Conservation
Socfindo Conservation received visits from the alumni of IPB University (Bogor Agricultural Institute) who came with their families to see the diversity of the plant collections and had the opportunity to enjoy fresh dishes from Socfindo Conservation's organic gardens.
