Yayasan BITRA Indonesia visited Socfindo Conservation
A total of 14 representatives from the Yayasan BITRA Indonesia visited Socfindo Conservation, not only to see the collection of mushrooms, orchids, vegetables and other medicinal plants, but also to learn about their health benefits. Yayasan BITRA (Rural Skills Development) Indonesia is a non-profit organisation that facilitates and directs implementation in the context of empowering marginalised communities, especially in rural areas.

Alumni of the Plant Protection (Plant Pests and Diseases) class 1984 from the IPB University visited Socfindo Conservation
Socfindo Conservation received visits from the alumni of IPB University (Bogor Agricultural Institute) who came with their families to see the diversity of the plant collections and had the opportunity to enjoy fresh dishes from Socfindo Conservation's organic gardens.

The Chair of the Board of Commissioners State Plantation Company (PTP XI) visits Socfindo Conservation
We were honoured to receive the visit of Mr Osmar Tanjung, Chair of the Board of Commissioners State Plantation Company XI. He came with her wife, Mrs Teresa. They were happy to see our plant collection and bought some our products.

VISIT
A visit from Summer Course Student of University of North Sumatera.
The University of Sumatera Utara held a summer course named- 1st TALENTA Agriculture 2022. There are 20 universities involved in this program. Their program involved visiting our medicinal garden at Bangun Bandar. Socfindo Conservation team introduced our plant collection and its benefit for health to all students.

The International Labour Organization visits Socfindo Conservation
The International Labour Organization held a meeting in Bangun Bandar Estate. The aim of this meeting concerned advancing workers’ rights in Indonesia’s Palm Oil Sector. On this occasion, they also had an opportunity to visit the Socfindo Conservation.

The Socfindo Conservation team visited the Medicinal Garden of Serdang Bedagai
Socfindo Conservation collaborated with Serdang Bedagai Regency to develop a Medicinal Garden in Serdang Bedagai Regency. On this occasion, the Socfindo Conservation team accompanied the Head of the Department of Settlement and Environment of Serdang Bedagai Regency, to conduct a review and supervision of the progress of their Medicinal Garden.
