The Socfindo Conservation team visited the Medicinal Garden of Serdang Bedagai
Socfindo Conservation collaborated with Serdang Bedagai Regency to develop a Medicinal Garden in Serdang Bedagai Regency. On this occasion, the Socfindo Conservation team accompanied the Head of the Department of Settlement and Environment of Serdang Bedagai Regency, to conduct a review and supervision of the progress of their Medicinal Garden.

The representative of Sumber Tani Agung Company visits Socfindo Conservation
The representative of Sumber Tani Agung Company, Mr. Pupathi and team visited Socfindo Conservation. They came to see the collection of mushrooms, orchids, vegetables and other medicinal plants and learn about their benefits for health. Our Toga book also caught his interest- this book is the compilation of the plant data, it has plenty of photographs for easy identification on the field, and is available for purchase at the site.

A visit from Regent of Tapanuli Selatan, Regent of Dharmasraya and Regent of Serdang Bedagai to Socfindo Conservation
We were honoured to receive the visit of Mr Dolly Putra Parlindungan Pasaribu, Regent of Tapanuli Selatan, Mr Sutan Riska Tuanku Kerajaan, Regent of Dharmasraya and Mr Darma Wijaya, Regent of Serdang Bedagai. They came to see the collection of mushrooms, orchids, vegetables, other medicinal plants and learn about their health benefits. At this occasion they were accompanied by Mr Andi Suwignyo, General Manager of Socfindo and had the opportunity to enjoy dishes made from fresh ingredients from Socfindo Conservation's organic gardens.

WORKSHOP
The fifth batch of Family Welfare Programme (PKK) of South Tapanuli Regency attends training at Socfindo Conservation
Socfindo Conservation Team has successfully finished the training program for Tapanuli Selatan. There were five batches participant from 211 villages which participate on this three-day training. First, they were equipped with workshop booklet consisting of nine modules, and then this was followed by theory and field practices. This activity was published in the Analisa Daily online media on 8 July 2022.

Students from the Faculty of Agriculture, Labuhan Batu University visited Socfindo Conservation
Students from the University of Labuhan Batu visited Socfindo Conservation. Not only had they come to learn about our plants collection but they also joined in making Jamu (Indonesian traditional herbal medicine) with the Socfindo Conservation team.

The Head of the Agronomy Study Programme from Gadjah Mada University - Yogyakarta, Prof. Panji Sakti Basunanda, and the Rector of the Institute of the Indonesian Oil Palm Technology (ITSI), Mr. Haris Sukariawan, visited Socfindo Conservation to see the collection of mushrooms, orchids, vegetables and other medicinal plants and learn about their benefits for health.
