FP-USU alumni and their families visited Socfindo Conservation to see the collection of plants and had the opportunity to enjoy dishes made from fresh ingredients from Socfindo Conservation's organic gardens.

Ladies from South Tapanuli attend a training seminar organized by Socfindo Conservation in their Herbal Garden in Bangun Bandar
A Family Welfare Programme (PKK) of South Tapanuli Regency attended training at Socfindo Conservation. It is a South Tapanuli Regency Government Programme regarding family food security. Therefore, a group of 82 participants from 40 villages in South Tapanuli attended a three-day training seminar. Mrs Luluk Williams was there to open this event. Each participant was given a Workshop Booklet which contains all the training modules that help participants understand the subject. In addition to the theory, field practice was also carried out so that in the future, participants can easily follow and apply it.

A group from the State Plantation Company (PTPN) visited Socfindo Conservation.
A total of 120 participants from the PTPN (PT Perkebunan Nusantara) group visited Socfindo Conservation. They were very enthusiastic about learning the types of herbal plants and their benefits.

Alumni IPB (Bogor Agricultural Institute) from Serdang Bedagai visited Socfindo Conservation
A group of 15 IPB Alumni from Serdang Bedagai visited Socfindo Conservation to see the collection of plants and had the opportunity to enjoy dishes made from fresh ingredients from Socfindo Conservation's organic gardens.

The wife of the Bupati of South Tapanuli visited Socfindo Conservation
The wife of the Bupati of South Tapanuli, who is also the head of Family Welfare Programme (PKK) of South Tapanuli, with a group of 80 people visited Socfindo Conservation and learned about the plants in general. They were also inspired and wished to adopt the Socfindo Conservation concept for South Tapanuli.

Socfindo Conservation has created a Workshop Booklet
The 96 pages of Socfindo Conservation Workshop Booklet has been developed to help both farmers and local government organisations. Its intention is to provide information about additional skills and knowledge that will allow farmers and organisations to develop their own herbal garden. The Workshop Booklet is divided into nine Modules, Module 1: Land Analysis, Module 2: Garden style, Module 3: Introduction to Plant Types, Module 4: Designing and Drawing, Module 5: Areal Preparation, Module 6: Sowing and Planting Techniques, Module 7 : Garden Care and Management, Module 8 : Jamu Preparation and Module 9 : Making Eco-Enzyme.
