A total of 185 students from SMK Negeri PP1 (a vocational public school) from Kualuh Selatan, Labuhan Batu Utara, visited Socfindo Conservation’s Herbal Garden. On this occasion, they were introduced to the collection of plants and their benefits.

Socfindo Conservation participates in the Indonesian Forum Spices and Business Expo 2021 held in Parapat
The Indonesian Forum Spices and Business Expo 2021 and the Establishment of National Spices Day were held in Parapat, Lake Toba, North Sumatra and were officially opened by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia. Socfindo Conservation’s Herbal Garden team participated in this event and had the opportunity to present various products made from processed spices, directly grown and sourced from its own collection of herbal plants.

Representative of the State Plantation Company (PTPN4) visits Socfindo Conservation’s Herbal Garden.
We were honored to receive the visit of one of the commissioners of PTPN4, Mr. Atas Wijananto and fellow delegates. They were able to see the collection of plants present in Socfindo Conservation’s Herbal Garden, but also enjoyed the dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients from our own organic garden.

The representative of Leuser Conservation Forum (FKL), Mr. Rudi Putra visits Socfindo Conservation. FKL is an Aceh-based non-profit organisation aims to conserve and protect the Leuser Ecosystem in Aceh province from imminent threats. He came to see the collection of mushrooms, orchids, vegetables and other medicinal plants and learn about their benefits for health.
