A side effect of development in Indonesia has been a rising trend of diabetes, heart disease and other ailments linked to the adoption of a modern western diet and sedentary lifestyle. One of the aims of this project is to use this traditional knowledge on plants to educate and promote health in the community and give people access to knowledge to improve their health and nutrition.
In addition to health, the project aims to educate people on the knowledge and propagation of plants as well as organic farming techniques.
